Our beliefs

The Holy Trinity

God is one. In the unity of this Godhead, there are three Persons, of one substance, power and eternity – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
The Son who has the same divine nature as the Father, took birth of the virgin Mary; in Him the Godhead and manhood are joined together in one Person. He truly suffered, was crucified, died and was buried to reconcile God to man and to be a sacrifice for sin, manifested in our nature and in our actions.

Resurrection of Christ
Christ rose from the dead and in His resurrected glorious body, ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God. From there He will return to judge all human beings on the last day.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God, equal to the Father and the Son.

The Holy Scriptures
All that is necessary for our salvation is contained in the Holy Scriptures. All the 66 books of the Old Testament and New Testament are the scriptures and we believe in the authority of the Bible

The Church.
The visible church of Christ is a congregation of faithful men and women in which the pure Word of God is preached and the sacraments duly administered according to Christ’s ordinance.

The Sacraments
Sacraments are the marks of our Christian profession and also signs of God’s grace. The two sacraments ordained by our Lord in the Gospel are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Sanctification
Sanctification signifies that every believer is cleansed from all sins through the Blood of Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit- thus setting him/her free from the guilt of sin, the pollution of sin and the power of sin, enabling him/her to love God with all his/her heart and to walk blameless in His Holy Commandments.
