Pastoral Team (till May 17)

Rev. Jayawanth N.H has been in the ministry almost 45 years and has worked in all capacities, held all positions (Pastor, District Superintendent, Director of POPAD, Manager of Baldwin schools, Secretary REB, Bangalore Episcopal Area). Rev. Jayawanth has joined the Methodist Church in 1971, was ordained as Deacon in 1973 and Elder in 1975. He was first appointed as Asst. Pastor at Methodist Church, Belgaum. He did his M. Th at UTC in 1977-80 – specializing in Pastoral Counselling. He was a lecturer at South Inida Biblical Seminary, Bangarpet and Karnataka Theological College, Mangalore. He was also Secretary of Karnataka Auxiliary, Bible Society of India.

He is married to Mrs. Pushpavathi Jayawanth, who worked as teacher in a Mission School at Kolar for 33 years but now retired with good health. They have three sons Arun Stevanson, Kiran Paul and Immanuel Francis. Arun and Immanuel have finished their B.E and MBA from Christ University. Arun is married to Catherine Mamatha and have a son Nathaniel Prince. His pet name is Bobby. Arun is working with Siemens and Immanuel is doing his business and yet to be married. Kiran is differently able child, who is now 34 years of age.

Rev. Paul Royappa has been in the ministry for 26years. He served as the Director of Youth for Christ Ministry in Tamil Nadu for 10 years from 1990 to 2000. He pursued his Master of Divinity at Trinity Theological College, Singapore from 2000 to 2003. Upon completing his Theological studies, he came back to India and joined the Methodist Church in India in 2003. He was ordained as Deacon in 2004 and Elder in 2005.

He has served as the Pastor of Calvary Methodist Church, Mysore, Indiranagar Methodist Church, Bangalore, Panjim Methodist Church, Goa and since June 2014, he has been serving as the Associate Pastor of Richmond Town Methodist Church. He is married to Rachel Paul and blessed with a son Allan Rohith, who is in final year pursuing Media Studies in Christ University, Bangalore.
