Senior Citizen’s fellowship

Re-tyred for Christ

The Richmond Town Methodist Church Senior Citizens Fellowship at Richmond Town Methodist Church is all about creating a close-knit community where the seniors of our congregation can grow spiritually, feel connected, and find support. It’s a warm and welcoming space where they can stay active, feel appreciated, and continue to be an important part of church life. Rooted in love and fellowship, this group builds strong relationships and supports one another through all of life’s stages.

The goal is to create a joyful and supportive environment where seniors can deepen their faith, share their stories, and enjoy meaningful companionship. Its vision is to build a Christ-centered community where seniors continue to grow spiritually, share their wisdom, and discover new purpose within the church.

The group meets once a month for devotion, prayer, singing, and sharing testimonies, helping everyone feel spiritually uplifted and emotionally refreshed. They also host guest speakers, conduct workshops on health and wellness, and joyfully celebrate members’ birthdays and life events, making each gathering special and memorable.

Beyond the monthly meetings, the fellowship extends its care by visiting homebound members, offering prayer support, and reaching out to those who may need a little extra help.

The purpose of the group is to provide joyful recreational moments through light games, storytelling, and meaningful conversations that foster laughter, connection, and mental well-being among members.
