The Lay Activity Committee plays a vital and dynamic role in strengthening the spiritual life, fellowship, and active involvement of our congregation. Our mission is to encourage every member of the church to participate joyfully, grow in faith, and contribute meaningfully to the ministry of Christ. Through various programs, events, and initiatives, we aim to build a spiritually vibrant, united, and caring church community.
To renew, revive, and deepen the spiritual life of the church—strengthening faith, encouraging repentance, and drawing members closer to Christ.
By encouraging fellowship and unity, the committee ensures that both new visitors and long-time members feel welcomed and cared for.
Forming prayer groups, Bible study circles, men’s and women’s fellowship groups, and youth spiritual clusters to help members grow together in faith.
Motivating members to use their gifts, skills, and spiritual talents to serve God and contribute to the ministry of the church.
Inspiring members to live out their faith through acts of kindness, evangelism, and community service.
In collaboration with MMF, the Choir Team, WSCS, the Sunday School Team, and other ministries, the committee plans and leads outreach visits to support the needy, the poor, and the underprivileged—sharing God’s love through practical care and compassion.
In collaboration with MMF and the Youth Fellowship, the committee organises sports events within RTMC and inter-church competitions, helping build physical fitness, teamwork, unity, and strong Christian fellowship with members from other churches.
Organising evenings of praise, worship, testimonies, and fellowship. These gatherings bring families together, strengthen relationships, and create a warm and inviting space for spiritual refreshment.
Hosting Bible quizzes, study nights, and other learning programs to encourage deeper
understanding of Scripture. These fun and meaningful events motivate both youth and adults to engage with God’s Word.
Planning, coordinating, and supporting various church activities throughout the year—ensuring every event is organised smoothly, efficiently, and with joyful participation from members.
Connecting with members personally, visiting families when needed, and ensuring that every individual feels welcomed, valued, and supported within the church family.
Organising carol rounds, Christmas dinners, and the Christmas Day celebration. These
activities help the church spread joy, reflect Christ’s love, and bring the community together during the festive season.
Planning and executing the Thanksgiving and Harvest Festival services, encouraging members to offer gratitude to God and participate in acts of giving and fellowship.
Organising a meaningful New Year’s Eve Watchnight Service and celebration, bringing the congregation together to reflect on God’s faithfulness throughout the year, share testimonies, worship, and prayerfully step into the New Year with renewed hope and commitment.
Arranging picnics, sports days, youth and children’s gatherings, and community outreach efforts to build unity and extend Christ’s love beyond the church walls.
Providing assistance during weddings, baptisms, memorial services, and other special gatherings—ensuring hospitality, coordination, and support for families.
We are a Christ-centered family of faith, passionate about worshiping God, walking together in fellowship, and serving others with love
